Changes to Loyalty Program

Increase from one specialty restaurant comp to two, 5 minutes free wifi, 2 drink coupons good only from 10am - 11am on embarkation day, cruise calendar, picture of the ship, chocolates during turn down only if you select late room steward service, travel size toothpaste on 5 days or longer, first two rows reserved at the past guest party, Maitre' D visit once per decade, and a table cloth to place yourself. :p

With a comprehensive list like that, they better push it to the 500 day level, otherwise their balance sheet might tank! :D

I should ask you Stu, which ship are you partial to? Food selection ,activities .Sorry to be off topic but yet again but this Hawaii cruise has my interest.

We did it on Ruby Princess and will go again on Grand in January. Was very impressed.

Our favorite Princess ships is the Royal class now have done three times. Buffet far superior to Carnivals. Lots of different games and activities and also entertainment far superior with old style production shows.

I personally think it should be closer to 600 days

Most cruises we have been on has only a handful of Diamonds. One 18 months ago we were the only ones and another had 5.

Only the longer journey or TA cruises get a lot.

In our case, it's the opposite. The more we cruise, the more I say we need to get off the ship and take an excursion, eat at the steakhouse, book the Chef's Table. What I won't do is buy the junk in the gift shops. That's crap!

There are a few Diamonds with well over 400 days. Whats your reason for picking 365 ? ;)

I am over 400 days, I picked 365 for it to be 1 year of cruising.

I never cruise for perks, and really wish, they'd all be dumped and cruise discounts be offered. :) :) There are thousands and thousands of higher level cruises.

I certainly don't want attainment lowered (it shouldn't be "easy" to get to upper levels or watered down).

Those who want the cruise lines combined for one loyalty I'd speculate will be lower levels than they currently are. It's very naive to think, one cruise line at diamond on Carnival, is going to give the top level on all the lines. My opinion- to get upper levels on any line- simply sail with them, don't expect short cuts.

Guess nobody has heard anything. Really didnt want the thread to become another one speculating on what might happen.

1. P&O Cruises bookings that are booked by (inclusive of) [b']Tuesday 12 December 2017[/b] will still count towards Princess Cruises' Captain's Circle Membership.

2. P&O Cruises bookings that are booked on or after Wednesday 13 December 2017 will not count towards Princess Cruises' Captain's Circle Membership.

3. Guests who have previously sailed with Princess Cruises will still have their completed P&O Cruises sailings count towards Princess Cruises’ Captain's Circle Membership and will not drop in loyalty tier due to the change on Tuesday 12 December 2017. For example, if you have sailed before onboard Princess Cruises as an ‘Elite’ Member, you will sail again onboard Princess Cruises as an ‘Elite’ Member.

So despite speculation that Carnival Corp may allow transfer of loyalty benefits across its brands it appears the the opposite will happen.

I saw that and have given up all hope that our Carnival loyalty benefits will transfer in some way toward Princess.

Will have to make my way to Elite the old fashioned way.
