Pullman bed on Celebrity Constellation

My question may be a silly one, but if there are just 2 of us sharing the cabin, and the cabin includes a pullman bed, does it take up much space or does it fold completely away??

There is one available midship that has the pullman, and one available forward that doesn't. Would it be a better choice to take the forward cabin?

If you don't need it, you won't even see it! It's stowed in the ceiling or wall, behind a panel. No worries!

Is "pullman" a Celebrity term used or is it just those of us who are of a certain age that know what that means? :D

You haven't said what category cabin you are looking at, but this is a quad OV cabin (actually on Summit) with the pullman bunks in the ceiling. If you don't know what you are looking at, you won't even know they are there. EM
