After less than a year we were on a caribbean cruise calling at Havana...and we had another great tour with Havanacar.

As we already had the walking tour last year ( If it is your furst time, you cannot miss it!) we just had a 6 hours tour in a classic convertible car.

The car we got was a white and pink Buick 1954 and we loved our driver Omar.

At every stop we made, people came over to took pictures at the car - it was awesome!

The tour itself was great - we drove around the city (Old Havana, Central Havana, Vedado, Miramar) and we were also able to visit Finca Vigia in Cojimar and Fusterlandia. As I said, you can give Havanacar your preferences before hand and they will organize an amazing trip for you infusing all of their own recommendations and local experience. I HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend this tour company instead of booking the expensive tours offered by the cruise companies!!!

Traveled to Cuba on the Carnival Paradise and had 20 hours to explore the city of Havana. The tour was in two parts, a 3 hour walking tour of Havana followed by a 3 hour driving tour in a Vintage convertible. We met Hugo in the square across the street from the cruise ship terminal. He was very personable and easy to understand. He gave us an excellent walking tour that included the history of Cuba, Havana, and various buildings in Havana. We learned so much about Cuba. The terrain is rough throughout the city, so definitely wear comfortable walking shoes. The second part of the tour was a 3 hour driving tour. Our driver Sneal - I am sure this is misspelled because he was very difficult to understand. He was very nice, but there was a definite language barrier. He was a safe driver and always helped when we got out of the car. We drove around in a 1950 Red Buick Convertible which was pretty cool until you realized the fumes from the exhaust were coming into the car. Unfortunately, it was raining and we couldn't put the top down in the beginning, but fortunately the rain stopped and we could. This helped dissipate the exhaust smell. We would definitely do this tour again, but maybe request an English speaking guide.
