Looking to take a River Cruise to Portugal.Normally we are Seaborne travelers.We really enjoy SB.Have taken 3 Silversea 1 we loved 2 not so much.This past year we were on Paul Gauguin and really hated it.Can anyone who may have been on the the same cruise lines tell us the difference with Viking.We are not interested in night life.Good food ,good itinerary and comfortable cabins.We are traveling from Az so really want to know what we are getting into before we make the long trip.

Hello, This is the Vikings Ocean board, a new build sailing in April 2015.....if you go to all other cruises section on CC there are boards about river cruising.

We have not done a river cruise yet is certainly on our to do list!
