Smoking areas on Reflection?

Hello all, Hubs and I just booked a hump cabin on the Reflection, 7258 and were so excited. However, when attempting to find photos or a video of the cabin I landed on a website where the cruiser complained that cigarette smoke from a designated smoking area below made their hump balcony very unpleasant for the week.

I have searched on line, but cannot find where the smoking areas are on the Reflection and if indeed we just booked a cabin directly above it. That would definitely be unpleasant for us as we make very good use of our balcony on cruises.

Anyone here know?

Many thanks...

The smoking section is on the Port side of the ship, deck 5, so you won't encounter any issues where you are. Just stay away from the Port side of the Sunset Bar, Port side of the pool deck, and the Mast Bar. Those are the designated smoking areas.

Below are the common smoking areas on Reflection. Areas subject change at the ship's discretion.

Deck 15 - Aft port side next to Sunset Bar

Deck 15 - Starboard side next to the Mast Bar

Deck 5 - Port side midship and forward

We have been on deck's 8 & 9 and are booked on 7 for our next cruise. Never had any issues with smoker smell.

Last Nov there was one of the Zenith level Capt Club members that were in the same deck 6 cabin for over 40 days. Worry not.:)

Well, if that's the case and a recent change, thank you very much for removing smoking from the Pool Deck on Deck 14. I complained to the Hotel Director back in 2013 during a Fall Transatlantic that that was not an acceptable place for smoking because on a windy day (and we had several), smoke would draft way into the buffet food area when the automatic sliding doors would open/close.

All ships should make it clearer where smoking sections are for those of us with asthma or children or children with asthma. After being on ships where we had to go through the smoke drifts of a casino or go decks out of our way, or swim only when poorly placed smoking sections were vacant, I appreciate forewarning. If you're a smoker, I get that you've probably tried to quit. My own family member avoided anywhere with smoke for years after quitting for fear of the urges.
