Half Moon Cay is a private island owned by Carnival. Its not inhabited unless theres a ship docked there. Anything you want to do other than walk the island or enjoy the beach must be booked through Carnival. What you see on the site is what you get. It is a fantastic place and one of the best beaches you could ever visit though.

This will be my 4th cruise. First time with hubby. I do enjoy getting out on the island and going to into the city. From what I see and gather this is a private island that only has carnival excursions available. It will be a chill and peaceful day. Not busy like Nassau.

What is available for sale there? Booze, soda's, food, souvenirs?

Half Moon Cay is a private island so everything is charged to your sail and sign card, but they have drinks and stuff...They have a BBQ...it's okay...wasn't the best things I ever tasted. We went on Sunday so everything was closed...they had one small shop that had T-shirts.

We've been 3 times here and will be here again in Nov. I don't ever remember seeing a waterpark, but I've read comments about it. I can't really find anything on it. Is there a pool there, or what? Anyone see it and is there an extra cost?
