Awesome brian! I am jealous of the Haven! But this aft cabin is nice. Yeah, that was one of the worst boardings we experienced, but we made it. Hope to see you around sometime as well. Enjoy the Haven!

Thanks so much for your quick reply. Also, I'm glad to see the cereal and yogurt back on the Continental Breakfast RS menu. I know I saw some scans/pics of one with just pastries, drinks and fewer fruits.

Here are the listed Internet Plans/Packages. I will stop by when someone is on duty to ask about ant Social Media Package as one is not listed that I could see but they do have a 300 mb plan, which is not much if posting pics and such on social media.

Last March we went to Fat Cats for at least an hour each night. I wouldn't say we are blues or jazz fans, but we really enjoyed listening to Charlie Love and his band. Lots of fun!

What would a cruise critic review be without a little criticism... our room service coffee and danish

 

 

 

 

My only criticism is there is not enough coffee for Two Cups in this carafe. We marked coffee for 2 and this is what we received enough for 1-1/2 cups total. Pro tip , order for 4 to hopefully get enough for two full cups, one cup each ..

Thank you Seadog, do you know how upgrading works if I were to reach 1000? Would the system give me an option to upgrade to the unlimited or would that have to be done at the cafe, or would I have to buy a whole new plan? I have been told you can upgrade but am not sure how that works.

Gooooood morning, Seadog - lovely morning pictures & excellent reporting as always. Satellite WiFi uploads seemed fine (tip to others - not quoting the post in replying do help speed up download/data transfer, saving the bandwidth) & was faster than download for us on the BA last time - what a bummer they managed to block youtube playing while not rolling out the new 3-tiered WiFi package, like the Escape or GA. Any luck using Facetime on iPhone to do video calling or just voice (VoIP) calling.

 

Packing a 20' USB extension cable along this weekend to use ... with no bedside charging port by the lamp (till NCL dry dock the ship or otherwise get to do a makeover)

 

Where and how fast is the ship cruising this morning, already off the coast of VA or NC/SC ?? Ship's navigational channel offered less info than the Gem & other smaller ships. Any early sightings of chair hogs yet ?

 

Boy, they sure kept to a small coffee pot in their delivery - great tips, order 4 cups for 2, yeah.

 

CC's Meet & Mingle is almost certain -by default - to be held at La Cucina at 11 AM this morning but the mystery is the BTS tour, has been held at 10 AM ... meeting in front of the ShoreEx Deck next to Guest Services. If you walk by & ask them, should be able to find out if they are doing anything different this week or next week on request from members trying to do both. Alvin, new CD taking over for DanDan, I think as the name seemed to ring a bell, was one of the CruiseNext staff (hometown - Asia) we had last year, pretty friendly & split up the tour group into half & did the laundry dept. first,

Excellent tip. Had my phone there as a clock as we have not packed a travel clock for a while now and used my phone as a clock without charging and have currently only 50% battery.

 

We are just past Elizabeth City in NC this morning, currently cruising 14.9 knots.

Breakfast at Margaritaville, ( no charge for breakfast, basically an extension of the Buffet)

 

 

 

Nice selection but more-limited than the buffet-

 

 

 

 

The Potato Cakes are excellent and just missing some applesauce to be phenomenal

 

 

We were literally the first or second people there and the eggs and Sausage were rather cold, but the aforementioned potato cakes were great as was the parfait. 3 out of 5 Forks.
