sail away on Freedom

Hey all - just wondering where the best place is to watch sail away on the Freedom? I have an 11 yr old and 16 yr old with me so no adult only areas. Sailing out of Galveston. Thanks so much.:)

The only "Adult only" area I know of on the Freedom for sailaway is the serenity deck. We like to park somewhere by the Red Frog bar. You can see outside the windows but are on the Lido for the party. If that's not what you're after, any upper deck with outside access will be great. Another one to think of is the Atrium deck (deck 3) but one side is smoking..starboard if I remember right.

Keep in mind that the weather there may be less than stellar, so I would find a good place on the starboard rail, and a good place inside, also facing starboard.

You can go to the Galveston cruise webcam and watch the sailaway (about 4:00 pm on Saturday) and get a good idea of where you might want to be.

You'll find your perfect spot...no worries!

:') That's true! We usually are still at Muster when it leaves port! With kids I think the Lido deck is perfect! If it is cold and/or rainy you can watch from the windows on Lido or inside the buffet.

I like being up on the lido where all the fun and excitement is.
