TOKYO Neighborhood and/or hotel recommendations

We are spending 3 nights in Tokyo pre-cruise. I've looked at 3 different neighborhoods - Shinjuku, Shibuya, and Asakura. We will be using public transportation from Narita to our hotel and during our visit. We are seniors who don't walk long distances anymore, and we aren't really interested in museums.

Is anyone familiar with these areas? Any hotel recommendations (not super luxury/expensive please).

We decided on the Hilton in Shinjuku for 2 nights precruise. Free shuttle to train station, great location and price.

We used Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku. Took the airport limousine to the hotel.

Great price??? I'm getting rates of about $550/night in booking.com and even more in the Hilton site!
