Zuiderdam dry dock

I have read discussion on recent dry docks on similar ships and mention is made of no smoking in casino. Is that a possibility on upcoming dry dock for Zuiderdam?

As the Zuiderdam is planned to get the same open concept layout (Gallery Bar/Casino/Billboard Onboard) that the Eurodam, Oosterdam and Westerdam received - I'd say yes. They all went 100% non-smoking in the casino after the refit. The same should also apply to the Nieuw Amsterdam post refit as well.

No - there is still a designated smoking area, though they may occasionally offer "smoke free nights" (at discretion of Cruise Director/Hotel Manager)

The "S" and "R" class vessels (Veendam, Maasdam, Rotterdam, Amsterdam, Volendam and Zaandam) will for the foreseeable future still allow smoking in a portion of their casinos.

I was just on the Koningsdam and smoking was allowed in the casino except for 2 non-smoking nights.

That may be because it was a Caribbean cruise. Over the summer in Europe it was the opposite.
