The fabric shop looks wonderful. I would love to have something where I live other than Joanns

Or anything else besides quilting material. We check out the fabric stores in Mexico every cruise.

Both shops were pretty big. One shop had multiple floors. Basement was the haberdashery. The material started cheap for jersey and cotton €4.00 per meter & went up from there. I will get the name of the street this morning & post it.

There's a Street in London that has dozens of fabric shops too. Also on the market stalls, if there is a proper market on that day.

It sounds wonderful. I love to sew. But I buy way too much fabric!

What port towns in Mexico so you shop in for fabric?

What we've found....

Puerto Vallarta has one on the other side of the gas station.

Mazatlan has several across the streets from the Mercado.

Found some in the Mercado area of Manzanillo. (It's behind the pointy hill across from port.

In Loreto there are a few near the Sears.

To buy cut fabric, the cutter will take the fabric to the cashier. At some stores you'll get a ticket to pay and another after you pay. Pick the fabric up at another window.

Lots of fun things besides dress material. ShamWows by the yard, those blue checked thin kitchen cloths, heavy cotton kitchen toweling etc.

OOPS!

La Paz, not Loreto.

Haven't seen a fabric store in Loreto but on the main street near the church is a weaver.
