Transportation from Greenwich Port to Gatwick

My Azamara cruise ends in Greenwich. Niether Azamara nor my TA offer transportation from there to Gatwick. I would appreciate suggestions on transportation available between the two.

You can get a train from Greenwich to Gatwick, with a change at London Bridge, on Thameslink. It takes a little over an hour and the fare is currently £16.60 each. You would need a taxi to the station though as it is about a half mile walk on pavements.

You could also book a private hire car straight to the airport which would take at least as long, depending on traffic and cost £60 to £70 for the car.
