We are sailing on the Ruby in a few weeks and I’m wondering how the casino is... anyone win any $$$ on the slots recently? I played quite a bit on the Emerald last year and didn’t win anything.... tightest slots I’ve ever seen. Wondering if the Ruby is the same?

I'm not normally a gambler as I tend to simply lose every time. I have read discussions of the slots on ships and those who are gamblers say to look at the payout lines and the ratio of the payout. It seems that slots on cruise ships have some of the worst payout ratios anywhere.

I was on the Ruby to Alaska last July. Lost big in the first part of the week, but then won big the last couple of days. Ended the week up a little. It was a lot of fun either way.

You have to be playing lots of pennies to win big jackpots. That means max bet, which at times are 500+ per bet. Most people not willing to bet $5 a pull.
