sandancer Posted October 5, 2018 #4 Share Posted October 5, 2018 P&O charged us £120 for both of us round trip with Thomas Cook in the Premium cabin. This was Manchester to Barbados. Not sure if this is the same if you are flying in economy. Sent from my iPhone using Forums

Thejuggler Posted October 5, 2018 #7 Share Posted October 5, 2018 Too much. There is absolutely no reason for airlines to do it, but algorithms are now programmed to give passengers with the same name seats apart so you are more inclined to pay. davecttr Posted October 6, 2018 #8 Share Posted October 6, 2018 If P&O charter an aircraft to fly to the Caribbean they pay a price for the charter. Any extra charges for special seats etc are determined by P&O, not the airline. Obviously P&O will want to make a profit on the flight!.
