Do you want to shoot water drops and popping baloons?

Here is a new entry into the module/smartphone hybrid camera triggering device. Since TriggerTrap tried and failed, I guess the niche in this niche market opened up and Pluto has stepped in.

The list of functions and accessories for event triggered photography (sound, light, motion) looks pretty complete. The accompanying IOS/Android app has some bonus features like an intervalometer function and a sunrise/sunset calculator.

Here's the website if you're interested.

I am slightly hesitant (I own a TriggerTrap cable :( ) but the function set and accessory list seem solid. If I lived in an area that gets more than semi-annual thunderstorms, I'd buy it in a hot second for that alone. I'm in wait-and-see mode until the first of the year but I just might give it a closer look then.
