Good Evening Wes

Thank you for being our eyes & ears on your voyage. We have circled the world several times and on arriving in a new country we would always try to have a meal made by the chef's on Whisper. They always tried and 90 % of the time we tasted something new. The galley just loved the challenge ( different from the usual meals) and my personal favourite is `cheese cake made with Baileys Irish Cream Just fab.

We too have sailed up the Thames but when we reached Tower Bridge it was 5.00 pm on a Friday !!!! The people on shore were not waving to us but shaking their fists because we were making them late for the trains home.

Best wishes Joe_90

:)

Really enjoyed reading along and seeing the beauty of your Norway trip. Also very much enjoyed making note of Ida's beautiful outfits. We're going on our first cruise in March and I was at a loss as what to wear.

Glad you're healing well. Safe trip home.

Spinnaker2/Candy, Les37b, zqtchas/Charles, flossie009/David &Susan, Joe_90, Napria, rpfarris/Rick, txladycruiser/Karen & Wayne, RosseauGirl: Thank you all for your Save Travel home well wishes.

Candy, David joined us in La Terraza last nite for our last dinner meal on board (he is excited about going home--they just purchased another home and he has a chock full to do list that his wife has for him to do). Chef David significantly added to Ida and my enjoyment of this cruise--he is a treasured asset for Silversea.

Captain William Wells former/retired London Pilot ship's captain is now (about 7:30 a.m) giving us a live commentary for the last ten miles as we sail down the Thames to the London Tower Bridge.

Please enjoy a snap from the delish Pub lunch yesterday and a couple of pix as we continue sailing down the Thames.

Savour the moment Wes!

I see you are accompanied by Svitzer Brunel.... the tug that pulled us through the tower on the cloud.

Just coming up to the O2 ... we're all on board with you! :-)

Just watched the webcam of Silver Wind coming through Tower Bridge.

Couldn't see Wes or Ida ................ but did catch all the Monday morning commuters waving their fists and blaring their horns ;p ;p

Safe journey home :*

Thanks Les37b/Les & Flossie009/David & Susan for the unique outside the Silver Wind sail in perspective.

Enjoyed the sail in from the very middle of the outside of the top deck--shooting pix & vid's (vids will be posted on Facebook for those who are FB friends u can view).

Tho we berthed adjacent the HMS Belfast over a half hour ago, we still have not been cleared to disembark. Imagine for those guests (know of one who has a 11:35am fight to Miami today) are very anxious about now (9:25a.m).

Enjoy some pix our our sail in as we ended our SW voyage at the Millennium Pier just past the London Tower Bridge:

And earlier this morning, Silver Wind was waved farewell (or angry fists waved depending on your vision lol) as she left the pool and continued on her journey with a tug on each end for departure and leaving in reverse. She'll be back soon :-)

Photos from the YouTube link posted... as a note... whilst it is a live stream, there is approx 3 hours of footage to view so currently it's still possible to watch the clip.
