Will you cancel your Carnival cruise?

I figure if enough people scared by the Carnival Triumph problems cancel their booked cruises, and enough people are deterred from booking a new cruise on Carnival... then..... the prices will drop for the rest of us.

No plans to cancel my Legend cruise next month but I will be interested to see how things are on the ship based on the reviews I've been reading lately. Hoping it's all fine and I plan to go on my cruise with a positive attitude.

We leave in a month and there is no way we're cancelling. This won't dampen our spirits!

This can happen at any time on any ship.

What seperates us from animals, is when a crisis like this happens, how you handle it. I think CCL has done a good job under bad circumstances. I feel bad for the crew who work for slave wages in the industry anyhow, are probably working around the clock more than ever, for no tips ont his voyage since S&S cards are being refunded and fares returned.

Well, I plan on cancelling my cruise in November, but that's only because I want to move it to August. November is too long a wait to satisfy my cruising addiction. :)

Absolutely not, I'm not going to go through like thinking the worse is going to happen around every corner. Personally, I think Carnival has done a great job in horrific circumstances and if someone wants to brand me a cheerleader, so be it.

No chance. Why would you cancel a cruise because of an accident? Carnival won't be killed by this. Media has blown this so far out of the water it's amazing. When this all dies down and people on the ship tell the stories all will be fine.

Hopefully Carnival will learn from this and it won't happen again but I don't think prices will be going down for us. I'll be looking though we are looking for one in the fall and the winter this year.

absolutely not! We set sail in just over a month on the Legend and I am so excited to be cruising on her again!!!!!:)

I'm NOT Cancelling... However, CARNIVAL Did CANCEL my 2/21 sailing on Triumph.

Oh well, we still have BREEZE booked for 9/28/13. :D :cool: :)

Not cancelling here, we can not wait till our cruise in September to Hawaii.

will you stop driving cus of a 10 car pile up??? will you stop flying becasue a plane crashed??? then why stop cruising because a ship had a malfunction???

It's funny--people at my office who know my family and I like to cruise on Carnival keep asking me that, as if they expect it might happen to my ship on my sailing, also!

Nope not cancelling my cruise to Alaska. As a matter of fact, I'm looking for a cruise to Hawaii, but leaving out of San Francisco. So it looks like I'll have to book on Princess.

We have our cruise booked on The Glory in 10 weeks and are really looking forward to it. If I was stuck on a ship like the Triumph situation I would reconsider booking another cruise, but until that happens to us (which I doubt very much) we are going on every cruise we have the time and the money for!!:)

Cruising with my hubby's family March 31st on the Pride. Wouldn't dream of cancelling!

With all I have been thru the past 4 weeks with a broken ankle, I need something to look forward to. Will be out of cast just before the cruise....K

Nope, not canceling either of the 2 I have booked. In fact, I had 2 prices drops for our cruise on the Breeze in May, and the early saver price drop has already been applied to our cruise balance.

When people ask if I still want to cruise, I say yes, and now I'm counting on the fare going down! Yesterday it went down $40 (4-night cruise), so I'm closer to booking :D

I don't cancel my flight after a plane crashes and hundreds die, why would I cancel for this?

We won't be cruising again until February of next year, but if I could get on a Carnival ship tonight I'd be all over that! Would I cancel my booked cruise? NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I've had four excellent cruises with Carnival and I'm looking forward to many, many more :D

Oh hell no! :D I've been waiting nine looooong months for this cruise!

I will say that I'm sick and tired of friends/family using the Triumph situation as a means to pick on our choice of cruise lines. :mad: Do I poke fun at them when they fly a certain airline after one breaks down/crashes? No! Do I judge their Mexico vacations after a huge drug bust that lead to dozens being slaughtered? No!
