Has anyone been to this port and can give me some info ..

what to do / see :) any information would be welcomed

Contact Bersukaria Tours at bersukariatour@gmail.com they are excellent and will customize a private tour for you at a reasonable price. I used them recently when in port on Seabourn Encore.

We did a p&o cruise there in 2015 . Took ships tour to Borobudur definitely worth the trip. Quite a long drive and we had a police escort all day . Would not have made it through the traffic without them. Not a place for an independent tour

Very true. We had a private tour, what a disaster! The traffic was horrendous.

I could not agree more. Having been on the same ships tour, I cannot imagine a private tour to Borobudur being a stress free day.

Another vote for the ship's tour to Borobudur temple. It was an amazing day, not the least being the bus ride there and back with a police escort, spending a good deal of time on the wrong side of the road! I think that was one of three tours in a row that required the ship to wait for us and made us very glad we had booked through the ship!
