Sydney Airport to Sydney Hilton Hotel

Just starting to research our trip to Sydney before our cruise and was wondering if there are any recommendations as to the best way to get from the airport to the Sydney Hilton Hotel? Can you give me any idea as to costs for various options? Also how far is the airport to the Hotel.

or you can catch a taxi and the fare is approx $50 and it could take 20-30 minutes depending on traffic

Takes about 25 minutes on the train from the airport to Town Hall station then a short walk to the Hilton.

One way on the train is $16-20 per adult.

The shuttle service above is very good. The Westin Hotel recommended them to us.

Our flight from LAX to SYDNEY on Qantas arrives at 8:20 am - not sure how long it will take us to get thru the airport.

A good time to arrive, you will miss alot of the peak hour traffic, so i would take a taxi for sure to the hotel, door to door and no walking with baggage needed then.

Just be prepared for that "Dorothy, you're not in Kansas anymore" moment when your cab driver gets in the wrong side of the car. :)
