Thought it might be interesting to see what people hate about a cruise. If you’re cruising you must love it but you must have some dislikes. Keep it clean and light please

Here are my top three in no particular order:

1. Flying to port. Let’s face it with weather delays and airline problems traveling can be very frustrating.

2. Trying to get into a braand Spanx after you have showed. Bathroom is still steamy and so very small.

3. End of cruise!:D

I enjoy flying NY to MIA or FLL for a cruise, never had an issue and it's run like a shuttle. Don't wear Spanx. Hate the end of a cruise, dislike muster - every muster says rules have changed from ship to ship and over time, but I still hear the same stuff every one of my 45 cruises or so. Hate kids in any adult area!!!!

What I dislike about cruises

1. The conspicuous consumption of my fellow cruisers. I know that for someone who loves cruising as much as I do, this may be counter intuitive, but we are taking a first world vacation and sharing a space with 3rd world employees. Please don't fill a plate with food and leave it on a table uneaten.

2. The short length of my stay. Even 7 days flies by so fast.

3. The increasing non all inclusive nature of a cruise.

1. Disembarkation;

2. Mistreatment of crew (includes removal of gratuities);

3. Being crammed into a tube of toothpaste that rocks from side to side just to get there (strangely, I love “the motion of the ocean” as the song says, but flying turbulence terrifies me).

1) Disembarkation

2) Rough Seas

3) Having to share space with the "Entitled Mindset" (these are the people with the thought process of "this is MY vacation so i will follow what rules that i think are necessary and ignore the ones that i dont agree with because i paid MY money and i should do whatever i want to do to make me happy because its all about ME)

Interesting moniker, surprised it's okay with CC. Certainly okay with me, I'm no prude or censor..

No major annoyances, although muster is always annoying. Wish it could be replaced with a video that could be watched in room.

There is always a small percentage of people with no etiquette: as mentioned, filling a plate with food and eating little of it, leaving dirty dishes by stairs or on elevator, taking a bite of a cream puff, not liking it, then putting it back on the counter in front of the not-yet-taken desserts, people putting their dirty feet on furniture in lido/atrium, etc. But the vast majority of people know how to conduct themselves.

1. Muster is fine, it's the crowding afterwards that makes me anxious.

2. The wait for my luggage to show up on day one (no, I haven't gotten over it yet, always afraid this will be the cruise it disappears). I don't really relax into vacation mode until I have that suitcase.

3. Disembark, particularly from large NCL ships at PoM.

1. Unsupervised children running around pressing elevator buttons, running the hallways at all hours of the night, etc.

2. People that overload their plates at the Lido buffet then only eat 1/3 of it. Wasteful!

3. Having to leave the ship at the end of the cruise

1) Grumpy people. Relax!! You're on vacation. You're obviously privileged enough to be able to afford the luxury of the cruise so don't sweat the small stuff.

2) Chair hogs. I would see hours go by and lounge chairs being held for mysterious no show family members.

3) Disrespect towards the staff. We make an effort to ask questions and get to know them personally. It's amazing what you can learn from someone if you look beyond the tip of your nose.

1: Packing the last night to put the luggage outside, although doing it before dinner has made it better

2: Nickel and diming of some of the cruise lines. Eg. could not believe the ultimate beverage package on NCL did not include bottled water.

3: Deck chair hogs

I didn't know you'd come over to the dark side Jimbo. Welcome aboard pal. I'll keep pestering elected officials and you work on CCL and we'll have it implemented by autumn.

1. The bloating2. When I walk from deck 10 to the coffee bar on 5 and they are closed and have to walk back up to 9. (Even though the fun times and app say it is open)

3. Lack of comedy shows on the 5 day versus a 7 day

3.5. That there are not more movies/entertainment on the big screen

1. Debark day

2. Smoky casino and hallways around it, people smoking on balconies

3. Disrespecting crew, rudeness to crew, includes people who remove gratuities

and one more

4. People who pile up their plates at the buffets, then leave more than half on the plate...

oh, and also

5. People who order 2-3 appetizers and main courses in MDR, then complain that the food isn't good
