First time cruising Princess. On other lines there is a program called "Luggage

Direct"

For a fee your boarding pass can be received prior to disembarkation

Your luggage will be picked up the night prior to disembarkation and taken to

airport and checked in

You do not have to handle the bags at all

You will pick them up upon arrival at final destination

Do Princess have this type of program?

Yes, Princess has luggage valet at some US parts and in alliance with some airlines.. Depends on your port and airline and flight time. $20pp for the service..

"Luggage Valet" is the program where your bags are shipped directly from your home to the ship, and back, via common carrier. But it appears the OP is asking about what Princess calls "EZCheck" which transports your luggage from the ship to your airline and prints your boarding passes. EZCheck is available from Princess only in Ft Lauderdale (flights departing FLL and MIA airports) and Seattle (SEA only) for domestic flights only.

BIG difference between Luggage Valet where your luggage is shipped via a shipping service for a minimum of $99/bag and EZCheck where it's $20/pp and Princess checks you in and prints out your airline boarding pass and luggage tags. You put your bags out the night before disembarkation with the airline luggage tag attached and you don't see it until you get to your final destination.

Good catch Pam... I have my terms mixed up, gets a bit much keeping which term goes with which cruise line.

Yes, the Princess program with taking bags to airport and checking them in for you is EZ Check...

Thanks!
