Ovation of the Seas

Recommended Posts

Now that we've sailed all the Oasis Class ships through the start of this year...we know about the "every other cabin - right/left" bed placement near the balcony in that class of cabins. We've seen some by the balcony and others by the bathroom...prefer the balcony area bed location.

Is there a "rule of thumb" or method to determine the bed location in a Deck 7 Balcony cabin (we're in 7130 later this year)??

Thank you for any help in advance.

Formula I use for Quantum class ships is find cabins in same line section that are connecting or have a sofa bed. Right side connecting, facing those cabins from corridor and sofa bed cabins have bed by bathroom. Bed position alternates down the line so just count how far from one of the above bed by bathroom cabins the one you want to know about is. Even number away, bed is by bath, odd number away, bed is by balcony.

No connecting or sofa bed cabins in line section of balconies then on starboard side if total number of cabins in line section is even then bed of the most forward cabin of that line should be by bathroom. If total is odd number then bed should be by balcony in that first cabin in that line.

It is the opposite on portside. Even number of cabins in line without any connecting or sofa bed ones, first one from front should have bed by balcony and odd number first one bed should be by bathroom.

Cabin 7130 will have bed by balcony.
