Scarlet Macaw Sanctuary

Hi,

We are going on a Panama Canal cruise and I want to do this excursion in CR (Puntarenas). There seems to be a weight restriction (that differs from ship's company) but it's always between 250 and 275 pounds. Do you have any idea why? Security wise or trying to fill the boat for the tour? And if we buy 3 places for the both of us, would it be OK? We called Azamara and they couldn't tell us.... we will have to wait untill we are onboard.

Any advice will be appreciated (and no my DH won't go into starvation and loose the extra, to do the tour ;))

We just took this excursion. If there was a weight limitation, I wasn't aware of it. My husband is over 275 lbs. We rode a bus to the santuary and then were on a type of pontoon boat. No one said a word about weight limitations. Hope this helps.
