That is a loaded question.

First of all, there are two piers. At the one pier, you would probably be walking about 250 ft just to get to the end of the pier. At the other one, it could be close to 500 ft. I do not have any idea where the pick-up / drop-off points are, however they could easily be a couple blocks from the piers or at a parking lot near the end of the long pier.

I have used a bicycle chain and secured my scooter to something near the pick-up point or parked it at a vendors stall. Usually find some kids bouncing on it when I return.
