Communicating On Board

Hi All,

We are cruising with a group of 14. I wanted to know if there was an easy way to talk to each other and keep connected.

On previous Carnival cruises we had the ability to use an app called the hub that we could use with our phones.

Does anyone know if RCI has something similar or better?

They don't have anything like Carnival has. You can talk to your friends...tell them YOUR plans, and they can tell you theirs...and then, you will know where to look for them! You can leave messages on the cabin phones, or stick a sticky note on their door. I'm assuming you'll have meals together, and that's a great "catch up" time!

You will find that most folks gravitate to the same places over and over...so finding then shouldn't be much of a chore.

We had the WiFi package. We could text or call each other using FaceTime e audio or video.

Supposedly RCI has something coming.

And on some ships, it seems there is a hole in their system, that allows iMessaging, but only on a few ships.

Otherwise, get wifi package and then you can text or email.

The RCI app, which will work on your Allure cruise, may have a communication feature by the time you sail next Jan.
