Cruise Out Of NO 2006?

[img]http://messages.cruisecritic.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif[/img] Am planning a trip to NO & want to 'do' a cruise out of there and back but will consider one way ones also.. Any suggestions? We are early 70s & early 60's - wld prefer HAL but willing to try others (have 'done RCCL, Princess, Celebrity and NCL also). Have read a rumour that HAL might have a ship there in 2006? OK by me as needed for Jan - Feb/06 (but not during Mardi Gras - been there & done that & while great once was enough). HAL is supposed to start cruising from New Orleans some time in 2005, but no details yet.

Carnival does 7-day cruises on the Conquest and 4 and 5 day cruises on the Holiday (to be replaced by the larger Sensation in 10/04).

Grandeur Of The Seas (RCCL) and Norwegian Dream (NCL) have 7-day cruises from NO Fall through late Spring.

Otherlines (e.g. Crystal)have occasional cruises leaving from NO.
