I have been on many cruises but have always had a cabin in the middle or the rear of the ship. this time we booked a balcony guarantee and just found out we are almost to the front of the ship. i have always heard you feel a lot more movement the further forward you are. we are on deck 7. any thoughts? Thanks!

We’ve been on deck 9,10, & 11 forward and the movement wasn’t really bad at all. We mostly just felt a little more motion at night when we were sleeping. I felt like I was being rocked to sleep.

With any ship, the more forward and higher deck you are the more you will feel the up and down motion. How much will depend on the sea conditions. How it will affect you depends on you. Just to add, the rolling motion - side to side - is what is dampened by the ship's stabilizers.
