Iceland Glacier Lagoon excursion.

Has anyone done the overnight excursion from Reykjavik to see the Glacier Lagoon?

What was the cost?

Was it worth the upheaval of an overnight hotel stay in the middle of a cruise?

We are planning for next year and trying to weigh up whether to do this trip or just rent a car for some independent sightseeing. We've been to Iceland before and done the Golden Circle.

I'm afraid I can't tell you if this trip is any good or not but we're just back from Iceland on Aurora and the cost of the excursion was £1200 pp, which would be before any loyalty discount you have.

That's what we thought! Even if we had wanted to go it would have virtually doubled the price of the cruise for us. I'm not sure if anyone did do it but I certainly didn't hear any mention of it on board.
