Crab Shack vs. Tracy's

You can make your own Red Lobster biscuits.

Buy a box of Bisquick.

Mix up a batch.

Add shredded cheese to the mixture (as much or as little as you prefer).

Drop spoonfuls on a pan.

Melt some butter with garlic salt in it.

Brush the butter on top of the biscuits.

Bake.

Add a touch of Old Bay to both mix and butter,.....then make 2 batches, as they will disappear as soon as you remove pan from oven...

One LEG for $25 dollars? I know what size king crab legs are, but seems like a tourist trap.

One leg for $25? I think you got ripped off. :DWhere did you eat? ;p

When we cruise out of Anchorage, we stop at a local restaurant, and order the King Crab legs entree. 4-5 large King Crab legs (flash frozen when caught, on the crab boat), with all the usual sides. $30 includes coffee or tea, and a slice of pie for desert.:)

I tried the Crab Shack on board twice. Both times, the shellfish was not of good quality. Frozen too long , over cooked, off tasting, some tasteless. JMO, YMMV.

I looked at Tracy’s website. I’m going aug 25 on Ruby. Might just do the crab feast even though my wife would get the chicken alternative and not be a good value. But I could make my money’s worth :)

I let my mom handle the heavy lifting on the home baked cheddar biscuits. My son gets whatever he wants at her house and he wants the biscuits.

Way cheaper to take him to grandma's -- he's 9 and thin as a stick but has been eating almost the entire Admiral's Feast on his own since age 7.
