Menus

Actually on a 7 night cruise you will eat in two MDRs twice and one three times. The three MDRs have signature menus so that takes up 3 nights, and then there are special menu themes that take the rest of the nights and pirate night. On those nights all MDRs have the same menu.

It is actually harder to explain than to have it happen. You will have a different menu each night of your cruise. 3 nights will be "signature nights" when each restaurant will serve its Signature Menu. So on those nights, each restaurant will be serving a different menu. Over the three signature nights, you'll experience each one.

The other 4 nights are "theme nights" where the theme primarily applies only at dinner. On those nights, each restaurant serves the same theme menu. Captain's Gala is one of the themes, as is Pirate night.

Each time you eat in a restaurant, it will be a different menu. It is different each night of the cruise for guests.

For the first 3 nights where each restaurant has a diff menu item, if you want to get an item that you had a previous night for dinner because you don't really like any items on the current night's menu  is that an option?

Generally, yes.

This is now different for the classic ships. Tiana's Place (Wonder) and Rapunzel's (Magic) have 2 specific menus. So one night will be one menu and the next time it will be their other menu. This only leaves three nights. On the Wonder and Magic this past summer there was one night when all restaurants served the same meal and that was Frozen night...serving the Frozen menu (this will be different depending on itinerary - pirates most likely). The captains gala menu and prince and princess menu were just on random nights depending on which restaurant you ate in. This meant that we didn't have the old 'formal night' menu on formal night.:classic_biggrin:

They're doing a new thing on the Fantasy.  Each dining room serves it's Signature menu the first 3 nights.  One night all dining rooms serve Pirate menu (or the Star Wars menu, if it's a Star Wars cruise).  The other 3 nights each dining room serves the same "other" menu - Royal Court serves the Captain's Gala menu; Animator's Palate serves the Animation Magic menu; and Enchanted Garden serves the Prince & Princess menu.
