Location of electric sockets in QM2 Britannia Club stateroom

Can anyone who has recently sailed QM2 in a Britannia Club stateroom tell me if there is an electric socket near the bed--or are all the sockets over on the table/vanity?

Which deck are you on ? It might make a difference as the Deck 13 cabins were new at the last refit.

My wife and I were in 12022 last May on a QM2 TA and we don't recall any. I just checked my photo gallery and can confirm that. If you would like to see our photo montage, which includes a cabin tour, its on YOUTUBE under HGQM2

BTW, this was a great cabin location for a TA. Southern exposure and the Statue of Liberty passed by our balcony as we set out drinking coffee.

I recall last year, after the refit, being surprised that they didn't take the resources for one of the most useful upgrades for very many passengers - power and/or USB outlets on the nightstand, headboard, or built into the lamp base. (But we DID get those hated drawer knobs!)

Another question regarding the electrical sockets?

Are they UK 220 volt or Continental 220 volt? We're coming from Germany. Will we need to include converter plugs?

If you look at the picture montage I posted on YouTube (HGQM2) there are pictures from our cabin that clearly show the plug.
