Success rate of making it to Princess Cays?

In the past, my ship missed one out of three private islands on various lines.

Would anyone want to share their experience of their ship 'avoiding' Princess Cay due to weather?

I'm sailing on the Caribbean Princess in April.

It has been discussed here that HMC, which can be seen from Princess Cay, has an approximate 20% miss rate. Most commonly in November/December. Don't know if there are different conditions at Princess Cay, but they are very close to each other.

Another consideration on HMC is island based, larger tenders, which seem to be easier and safer to load during questionable conditions.

On personal experience, we are 10 for 10 getting into HMC, with only one close call ( in December).

We've been to Princess Cays many times over the years in the Jan/Feb time frame and have only missed a scheduled stop there about 10% of the time. :)

We have never missed a stop at Princess Cays but have missed others in the Caribbean - Grand Cayman more than most. In fact, Princess Cays was Princess's "go to" port when we cruised Nov. 2017 after the hurricanes - we missed other ports because they weren't ready for visitors, but Princess had their island ready to go so that they could accommodate their passengers. We had 3 back-to-back cruises in November, and every one of them made it to Princess Cays.
