Yes. Several years ago we took a walking tour of the Jewish Ghetto with Michaela Pavenchello We found her from the Rick Steve's book and it was like spending time with a friend. She is an excellent guide. Contact is jewishroma.com

Thanks for asking this question and sharing! I looked up the web site and now plan on doing one of the tours. I see she gets amazing reviews too!

We have also done the walking tour as outlined by Rick Steves. I must recommend a restaurant in the Jewish Ghetto called Nonna Betta. This was probably one of my most favourite meals in Rome.
