Airport Parking - Advice? Thoughts?

I know there are a ton of threads about parking at POM and how it is the safest, most convenient place to park your car and not have to worry about it while on a cruise. I know there has also been a big discussion on Park & Go hotel packages, which is what we usually do.

But what about airport parking? There is a website that lists several parking areas/lots/garages that are convenient to the airport at quite a significant savings over POM parking. Actually quite a few places are at some of the airport hotel lots and many also offer shuttle service. I realize that some of the cost savings would be lost to taxi or Uber fares if we forgo the shuttles (some reviews said the wait times were unacceptable). For reference- we're talking daily rates at $4.25, $6.00, $8.20, etc. vs. $22/day at POM

Opinions? Feedback? Actual experience?

Listings on the website are for places like: Hampton Inn - Airport/Blue Lagoon, Crowne Plaza - MIA Airport, Sheraton - MIA Airport, etc.

I would still park at the port for safety and convenience.

Try to google the sites you are looking at and even try Trip Advisor.
