Question for Windstar’s May 6 Mosaics of the Mediterranean

Hello!

We are extremely excited to take our second cruise on the Windstar line.

We are hoping some veteran cruisers could help us with two questions.....

Our first cruise was in the Caribbean. We had the beverage package there,too, and like to tip a dollar or so a drink when it was delivered. I just went out and got so many dollar bills, but thinking, should we tip-in euros? Your thoughts would be helpful.

Also, as we start thinking about packing, wondering what the temperatures might be on the sea during the evening hours? I know weather changes, but if you have been on the sea in early May, would greatly appreciate your reply!

We use both, since the crew can use either depending on the cruise. You don’t say where you are cruising in May. However if it’s the Med then the sun will be warm but you may find it still a little cool with the sea breezes, especially in the shade. Evenings can also be too chilly for sitting out and it’s usually too cold to swim in the sea before June. (For me, anyway,). Take some light Woollies with you!

If you purchased the beverage package, you already paid 15% gratuities. You don’t need to tip on top of that.
