Quick General Question....Initial Deposit...Transaction date or Posting date?

Looking at insurance for a trip (not cruise) my DH is taking...for purposes of previous conditions...which is the date considered...for deposit..transaction date or posted date of deposit on credit card? Thanks

If you have to cancel the cruise the insurer will ask for proof of payment -- either a cancelled check or a copy of your credit card statement. That's the date that will be used. As far as the insurers are concerned an invoice/receipt from the travel insurer is useless as these can be back-dated with little trouble.
