We are booked using AA points. I booked using AA from Nashville to LHR. I could have used BA for a direct flight, but taxes would have been about $400 more, and the arrival at cph 3 hours later.

We have a 1 hour, 55 minute connection at lhr. AA is terminal 3, BA is terminal 5.

The AA flight arrives at 8 a.m.

Is that typically enough time to make the connection?

Thanks.

Yes, but don't dawdle. Often AA uses gates at Terminal 3 that are a v-e-r-y long way from the "flight connections" bus stop, so make your way in a timely fashion. There may also be a slight slowdown for security when you get to T5, but usually this isn't too bad. Worst case, BA has several daily flights to CPH so even if everything were to go south, you'd have a short delay before the next flight.

There is no need to cliam luggage since entire booking was made through AA?

No, the bags will be transferred to the next flight. The OP will go through immigration and customs at Copenhagen; all that will happen at Heathrow is a security screening.
