Live from the victory......

Hello.... Thought with the lack of victory reviews of late I'd bring you a live report.

I've cruised NCL n celebraty and of course Carnival.

As we entered the lido buffet was crazy long but the pizza wasn't to bad so that's what we are and it was great. Actually the pizza burgers and late last night the Ruben was to die for....

Staff is wonderful and the casino rocked. One of the reasons I seem to always prefer carnival over the rest is it's music. Just more diverse from island piano to good ol rock n roll.

We do have the cheers package and for us it's well worth it. French martini in the casino were strong. I'm happy to report unlike Cancun they don't water down the booze and know how to mix a drink.

Man last night was fun...

Any questions I'll try and answer.

Will do and yes I am enjoying the victory immensely..... Key West was fun but the bars opened later then we wanted to stay..

I definitely prefer the smaller type ship... The crew is working hard.

Hello everyone. I've not made it to the MDR as of yet. Late pool lunches of cheeseburgers n fries hold me over. Then we rest and hit the fun time bars and close out at the lido. My wife n I go out to restaurants all the time at home so this works well for us. The Reuben from the deli are to die for n the lido had prime rib which was great.

My one negative and tip is bring ear plugs because the noise in the Halls when resting is like they in your room. Lol

Not sure about the sushi and in key West just walked around had coffee sat and people watched. It was fun. Today we went to paridise Beach which to me was disappointing. The beach was Rocky water looked dirty. But then again I've been spoiled. The pool however was beautiful. Drinks expensive. No worries back to the ship for some Tequila Sunrise which kicked out ass. The bar keep was laughing. The service is great. We are parked next to the Valor which looks small. Food service all great. Tonight we plan on hitting the piano bar n the lido deck party at 1030...

Another banner day/night on the victory. Last night while enjoying our first drink we struck up a conversation with the production manager for carnival live who asked us if we wanted to go see Jay Leno. Sure. He gave us some tickets and we caught the last 40 minutes. Real funny. After that another drink or two then to the lido buffet we went. Some lamb pasta salad excellent food. I've not had a bad meal. After that we enjoyed the deck party then off to the cabin we went.

Another great day.

Room 1039. 7.5

Food. 10

Entertainment. 9.5

Ports. 6

Service. 10

Drinks. 10

Overall solid 9. Great time.

I love the victory as you can tell. It's a simple ship that lacks the bells n whistles of the big boys.. that said everything is always close by..

We were on the Victory from April 24 thru the 28th and loved it! The crew was amazingly friendly, Mateey was awesome, food was great, and the pools where my 5 year old daughter kept us most of the time, were fantastic.

Great ship for our first cruise!

Just got off Victory this morning. Cruise was great ,food could have been better. Staff was great very attentive. One complaint was the stron sewer gas smell through out the ship. Our hall way outside our room on deck 11 was awful we were told they were working on it. Just a leak. It cleared up for a day or two then it was back yesterday stronger . Could even smell it in other parts of the ship. Last night during the Vroom show it was awful. Show was super though. Hope it gets fixed for next cruise but may be that the rest of ship needs upgrading. Rooms are great since being redone.
