Mystical Marrakech Overnight Ship's Tour from Agadir

We are booked on the Holland America 54 day Grand Med & Africa Cruise in March 2018.

 

Has anyone done the Mystical Marrakech Overland tour that travels from Agadir to Marrakech by bus, tours Marrakech, etc. and, after an overnight stay in Marrakech and some more touring, returns you to the ship in Casablanca?

 

 

If so, approximately what time did you get back to the ship and did you see anything of Casablanca on the return trip or have enough time to go into town to see Rick's Cafe and/or the souk?

 

I know the ship's tour at $999.- per person is horribly expensive, but given our concerns about security and the risk of missing the ship, etc. if we try to do it on our own, we prefer to rely on HAL for this one.
