Has anyone seen the itinerary for this leg of the repositioning ?

Thanks

I see RCI's marketing has already sucked people in - there's nothing that special about the sailing. Ships going to/from Asia use that route every year. Ovation did it last year. Quantum had its 53 day Odyssey. Legend just came back that way a couple of months ago.

Biker, who would guess Mariner will follow the same itinerary as Legend.

All I am looking for is the itinerary, special or not...

Anytime.

For a confirmed itinerary you'll have to wait till it's officially out. My guess would be for the Singapore Dubai leg, one stop in Malaysia, one or two stops on India. For the Dubai Barcelona leg, stop in Muscat, one around Suez, one in Greece, and one/two in the Med.Then 2-3 on the way to Miami (apparently at Gibraltar on May 10).

Legend's final RCL itinerary was 13 days:

1) Dubai embarkation

2) at sea

2) at sea

3) at sea

4) at sea

5) at sea

6) at sea

7) at sea

8) Suez Canal transit

9) at sea

10) Athens

11) at sea

12) Malta

13) at sea

arrive Barcelona

Ovation was 16 days and included Rome, Naples & Petra, Jordan

Mariner's in 2013 incl Alexandria (overnight), Luxor & Aquaba

Because of the situation there I don't think that stopping in Alexandria and Luxor would happen. As Rome, Athens and Petra are where people want to see I would guess that they would follow in the (reverse) footsteps of the Ovation.

What if I pay the full price and just join the cruise at Aqaba? Will they allow that?

Might be possible, here is the contact info:

Luxor is way down south in the desert, a good two hour flight from the sea. Maybe you mean Cairo?

Thanks BoB! ..That link is heaven sent

Just realize that any downline embarkation/debarkation is a bit of a catch 22 - they typically won't give an answer until you have a booking. So you may have to book to find out they won't do it.

Also interested to find out if partial cruise = partial fare ... May 2 isn't? ..this week is gonna be interesting.

Low margin on repostioning cruises - just another cut back I suppose. They need to get the ship to Miami and start making money again.

Mariner will be making Miami her new home sailing 3-4 night Bahamas starting in June 2018. Enchantment will be relocating to Galveston.

Where did you see about Galveston?

I work in the travel industry and we got a notification today regarding Enchantment moving to Galveston and the sailings currently schedule on Enchantment from June 2018 on, will be on the Mariner of the Seas. There should be more info coming out to public soon.
