Radiance/Windjammer seating complainers

We were on the Radiance for an Alaska southbound cruise in August. Whenever the WJ was crowded, we just carried our trays into Rita's Cantina.

Again I'll ask the question....."Trays" :confused:

We have only been on three cruiselines but each one has "trays" available in the buffet area. We prefer the MDR but have eaten in the buffet areas as well.

When eating in the buffet area of any cruise ship, we always use a "tray." We each set our plates, eating utensils, etc. on it, then walk around until we find an empty table where we can sit down to eat.

It seems easier to use a "tray" to carry things rather than juggling several items at a time or going back and forth numerous times to get each item individually. :D

I think the question about trays is being asked because there have not been trays available in Royal's buffet area for a long time. The only time I see trays on Royal is on orders from room service.

I am surprised that you had trays on Mariner and Radiance. We have not found trays in the Windjammer in the last several years.

I was on the Radiance Aug 31-Sept 7. I ate in the WJ several times. [most breakfasts and a few lunches] I never saw anyone using a tray. There were green napkin/silverware bundles and plates.

The tray . . . going, going, gone.

This thread was from six years ago. A lot has changed on the Radiance since then.

Thanks people for the heads up will walk extra steps through doors if / when windjammer is busy 👍

If the only available tables are large, we will ask others if they're looking for a seat.... Sometimes you just have to sit down and join....tell them when the rest of their party arrives, you'll leave!
