How is she after all these years?

We went on her when she was just about new for our honeymoon in 93!

Had the big ole suite!

We thought she was very well kept up!! Course we have always done the fantasy class ships. The crew was amazing and EVERYONE was so friendly and helpful.

Which port did you enjoy?

We went to Nassau and Princess Cays.

Nassau was Nassau. Princess Cays was beautiful but EXTREMELY rocky. You will need water shoes. I still think Half Moon is 100 times prettier. [emoji51] but we did have a great relaxing beach day in our bungalow. [emoji7]

We also found Princess Cays rocky. Didn’t spend much time there.

Thanks for the feedback.

Wife would like to know if the coin push game in the casino has the BONUS bonus game with the letter tokens. She got a lot of letters on a recent Paradise cruise and wondered if she should bring them along. Anyone know?

It did. I played it last night! [emoji2]$100 if you get BONUS

Did you feel a lot of motion? People keep saying how rocky the ship is. We are going in February on Ecstasy. We usually do larger ships, so I’m nervous about motion sickness. I’ll take my Bonine [emoji1360]

I just gotta say this:

If you had posted the comment, "Just got off ecstasy today!", on Facebook or Twitter instead of here, you'd get far different responses! :D

It is SO unlady like of me to snort, especially several times in a row, but dahmmit Kevin...;p

Yes, you could definitely fell the motion. Yesterday especially. It was pretty bad. They hung the puke bags next to the elevators. You should be ok in February. I took my Bonine 3 times a day and I didn't get sick. Just couldn't hardly walk haha

I would like to hear more about your experience with your bungalow at Princess Cay. We have one scheduled in 2 weeks while on the Conquest. What was included and what were your pros and cons. Thank you.

Ok. I know the bungalow was pricey but in my personal opinion, it was worth every penny. It was my stepdads birthday and he is a little older so I knew getting a bungalow with air was a must. It was EXTREMELY hot.

They put a paper in our room 2 days before needing to know everyone shoes sizes for snorkel gear and your choice of sodas--2pp. (two big bottles of water were already included)

Food that was included was a large bag of chips, sour cream, guacamole, salsa, and ranch. Assortment of fruit--pineapple, honeydew, watermelon, and cantaloupe.

Veggies-tomatoes, carrots, and celery.

Cons--

the beach was EXTREMELY rocky. To the point were you dreaded getting out when you got in cause the rocks were sharp. You have to take water shoes. We won't go without water shoes next time. (Looked at Walmart the day before our cruise and couldn't find anything and it was too late for an amazon order) I didn't know it was rocky till I read something the day before.

It was kinda small for all 6 of us. But all of us didn't want to be inside all at once.

The beach doesn't have access right in front of the bungalow. But there is a beach view. It's about a 3-5 minute walk. (However we were in the sanctuary bungalow) so it might be different for you.

I thought the food they fed you off the boat wasn't good. It might have just been me but I was thankful for the snacks in the bungalow that were provided :)

Pros--

We had air and shade!!! :)

We got to snorkel for the first time and saw some pretty amazing stuff. :)

My hubby is a tight wad and said we would spend the money again in a heartbeat. Well worth the $ in our opinion.

Thank you for all the information , we have booked the regular bungalow , so not sure what amenities we will have, a place to escape the heat was the most important for us. I was aware that the beach was rocky and found some water shoes to take. My favorite beach is Half Moon and favorite bungalow has been at Mahogany Bay Roatan.

Half moon will ALWAYS be my favorite. But PC was beautiful. But there is NOTHING like that baby powder sand at HMC.

  • 4 weeks later...

What was the atmosphere like around the pool during the afternoon and into the evenings? (music, contests, dancing, etc)

Also, was there one bar/area that seemed to stand out over the others as far as having a lot of fun at night? :tropical-drink: Thanks!

I sailed on the Ecstacy from Charleston to the Bahamas on Dec 9th to Dec 16th. It was FREEZING on the ship....no heat in the staterooms. Very disappointed.

I sailed with you. I agree. I don't think I've been that cold on a cruise ever. I've sailed in Dec, Jan, and Feb, but this was crazy cold. We asked for blankets immediately.

We had a decent time, but this ship is really showing its age.
