Hi!

Are you still able to smoke on lido, at the seating area where there now is Guys Burgers?

You could in 2015 when I was last on Victory but don’t know if it’s been changed since the new bar and Guys has been put in. Also, I’ve googled Carnivals site where it says you can but don’t know if it’s been updated since Victory has been in dry dock.

TIA!

It's highly unlikely. I don't know of any ship that allows smoking in close proximity of where people eat. The closest area will be on the deck above, in the designated area in the Aft of the ship.

Just off the Victory last week and Beach bum is correct. There is a smoking area on the deck above, it's almost right above Guys. There is another area outside on deck 3 which I like better, it's quieter, has a few lounge chairs and benches and some shade.

Not everyone knows about the smoking area on Deck 3. Although we've not been on the Victory, the smoking area is typically on the Starboard side of the ship (on your right facing forward). Stop by the Atrium bar on your way out and get a beverage to take out with you. ;)

The area where they put Guy's has always been a smoking area before and it was right by a serving line. They never made them non smoking until after they add Guy's.

Smoking? Who cares about smoking? lol

Just kidding. I figured i'd throw that out there before all the non-smokers chimed in and say how gross it is. I need to find the smoking sections on Dream. I know Carnival is pretty good with smoking areas. The Magic had decent areas, but the casino bar really did have that place stinking pretty good though, I can see why people complain about it. As a smoker it bothered me sometimes. They will never be able to please everyone, so they do the best they can. IMO
