Port or Starboard Cabin

For a Hong Kong to Singapore cruise, which side is better? I know that land will be on the starboard side but not necessarily when in port. Anybody have thoughts on this?

Even though land will be on the starboard side during most of your cruise - it will generally not be close enough to make any difference. Except for Ha Long Bay, the ports are commercial/industrial with no views so the side makes no difference in or out of port.
