Roy, I started a Roll Call for the Symphony, #1201, Jan. 5, 2011. Thanks.Thank you Karen. I hope most or all people who start Roll Calls will post here. It makes it much easier to keep track of what needs to be done.
it has a feature that I didn't expect: clicking on the link for a roll call opens an additional window for it, making it possible to work back and forth between the roll call and other threads. This is particularly useful if you want to cut and paste something into the roll call from another thread. Actuallly, it appears that you can have multiple windows open at the same time, but I haven't checked to see if there is a limit on this.Bob, I have long used Firefox and prefer tabs over new windows but either is a great feature and both are now available with either browser. You can manually open either a new tab or window under the browser's "File" menu, and can set the default tab configuration of either browser. Under Internet explorer you can go to Tools, Internet Options, General, and Tabs and have a lot of options. In firefox it is a separate tab under the Tools menu. There may be a limit on the number of tabs/windows you can open but I have opened up to about a dozen and have never seen a limit. There is most likely a practical limit based on the memory and speed of the computer, but I don't think there's one built into the programs.
New roll call thread started for Serenity 0330: http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=1263521The way you posted that message is PERFECT. You have provided a link to the roll call so it is there in case I didn't get around to an update for a while.
Please update the roll call table. Many thanks
Hi Roy,Cyril, you did very well. "Roll Call" in the title would have been helpful, but you included enough specific information so people will have no trouble identifying it as such. I hope other CC members book this cruise soon.
I just made a new thread for this cruise because I couldn't find any reference to it. Does that mean this is now a 'Roll Call'? Don't really understand all this stuff yet! Perhaps I should have typed 'Roll Call' in the title.
