Surprised this isn't in Mandarin if it is from Joy. I assume all wait staff are native or fluent Mandarin speakers. Guess they are training on an American menu too. Doesn't look like Chinese breakfast foods.

While a large percentage of the staff will be fluent Mandarin speakers English is still the universal language on board the ship that everyone must know. This page could also just be the western options.

While on YT looking up something else, stumbled upon this - July 2017 video of the Joy, docked in HK's Kai Tak Cruise Terminal (former airport's runway, redeveloped) - it's a quick tour of the live public revenue, including dining options and several categories of staterooms, including family balcony that sleep 4, suite and top Haven ones - casino (spanning 2 decks) and gaming/VR actions, etc.

Aside from translated titles/captions bilingual in English/Chinese - much of the narrative, done in ... Chinese ... Manhattan MDR mainly for Asian dining with some choices for western, hmmm.

Her maiden voyage - call on HK on June 7, 2017 - no passengers onboard, looks strange - isn't it ... sort of like a ghost ship.

Docked at 長崎港 or Nagaski Int'l Cruise Terminal, Japan - Jun 25, 2017

Go-Carts, 230 meters long with 10 turns, total of 20 carts - only 10 allowed at any given time ... for safety & operational reasons. Crew has remote control over the speed & functions of all go-carts, if necessary to override them. Comments - speed is too slow, even with turbo (locked out until it is underway) and course is too short - just 2 loops.

Clearly, there needs to be an instructional video about the proper racing line before guests get to drive the carts. :o

The 10 at a time also allows the next group to get ready while the first 10 are on the track. I read that it also allows the carts to get a bit of a charge.

Well the reason being it was a Ghost ship was that because NCL Joy was meant for the Asia market, they didn't want to sell it to people who are not from Asia. That is also the reason why Joy bookings did not appear on the NCL website as it was only sold through travel agents in China for their targeted market. But recently, NCL has open Joy to the World, though not many choices and cabins category avalible

Still looks like a joke, two wide at the most?:') I hope they have a sanitizing station for the helmets.
