For prices for two w/ taxes - that is a pretty good deal for a cruise in August. Granted, not as good as the 1/6/19 Oasis sailing was a couple of weeks ago.

I was going to say maybe you could upgrade to an OV balcony if you wanted one but prices are now up from when I started this thread

Probably cheaper that week since school starts the week before at least around here. Not a bad deal though.

I see you Ellen. I am doing a girls cruise with my daughter and her friends for college graduation in July. Wedding in Asheville for my niece in August. Sailing the big girls September October and November and pre Christmas cruise with the family in Dec.

I miss when we paid 6.50 Swedish Crowns for one U.S Dollar, today we pay 9.58 Crowns for one Dollar :o That's a gain with 47% :loudcry:

Depends where you live. Year Round schools start July 18, lot of regular term first week August, some 3rd week of Aug and all the rest after Labor Day...

Yeah, harder to find, but deals are out there... As always say at least $ for $ taking a Cruise is cheaper then 30 years ago, not even adding inflation into it...

It went up from my original post but $1641 for a OV balcony is still a very good price IMHO

I booked our family of 6 for that date a few days ago and got 3 neighborhood balconies for about $1400 each - and prepaid gratuities, free dinner at specialty restaurant (from TA), free lunch, bottle of red wine....We're psyched!

We have a GS we booked mid June. When it was BOGO50% off.

We booked it a couple of days ago and the per night rate was under $100pp. We are a family of 4 and found adjoining CP balconies, so we split up and now have two cabins. Two balconies and two bathrooms is great. Still came in under $100/night pp.

Booked earlier this year on 7 nt. Halloween cruise on the Oasis. $1462 CP balcony with $300 OBC from Royal and $200 OBC from TA.Did this same cruise last year and had a blast!!
