Oasis Dining question

I check some previous posts, but i didn't see an answer to this question. We are thinking of buying a dining package, but wanted to find out if there is any cost savings doing this prior to the cruise or will it be the same price, or close to it, once we are on the ship? Also, on out last NCL cruise, we didn't have any problem getting into the specialty restaurants the day we wanted to eat there and / or making a reservation that morning. Is that the case on Oasis? We eat pretty early so that may have factored in on our last cruise.

There are no guarantees they will offer any packages on board. I have found that at most it may be $5 or so cheaper on board but I’ve also seen it more expensive on board. If you’re interested in the package you should just purchase it beforehand.

Yes, if you dine early, you will likely have less issue with availability.

You shouldn't have any problem booking onboard, especially if you are early eaters. From 6:45 on, in can get booked, but not so much earlier.

As far as the prices go...they are subject to change...hard to say if you'll save any by booking in advance. If you do book in advance, and see a cheaper price on the ship, cancel the 1st one and rebook!

Thanks for the relies and it sounds like our experience will be similar on Oasis as it was on past cruises. We usually eat between 5-6 and the cost savings doesnt sound that significant.
