Dream : muster drills

Is the entirety of the Muster held inside or is it both inside and out on deck? When we sailed on the Sensation in September, we started off in the aft lounge for the lifejacket portion of the drill then taken out on deck and made to stand in single file lines near the lifeboats.

Entire thing inside. Our station was the upper level of the midship dining room. The stragglers had to stand so head on to your station when they sound the alarm if you want a seat.

Were there only 2 locations for the entire ship?

Thanks

Last month, our Dream muster station was in the rear dining room. Sat at a comfy booth and met two interesting people.

However, no one paid any attention to the voice from the ceiling's information. More attention was paid to what was shouted and demonstrated in the dining room.

Again, it reinforced my feeling that in the event of a big problem, it will be chaos and the results will be tragic.

This depends on your cabin number. Each cabin has a muster station assigned and it will be listed both on your card and on the back of the door of your cabin. There are many more than two muster stations on the Dream. Some in showroom, some in the dining rooms, some in the comedy club, some on the Lido deck, etc. Some are inside and some are outside. Sometimes you get lucky and only have to sit and listen, while other times, you will be led to your actual lifeboat embarkation station after the life jacket demonstration.

There are too many variables for anyone to give you accurate information on these boards.

Good luck!

Dream and Vista class ships do not send passengers out to lifeboat stations at any time.

We were on the Dream in September and our Muster station was in a conference room. We were lined up in rows and it was very hot in that conference room with so many people in it. It took a while because they had several people not show up so we waited for a while.
