We are longtime Elite Plus cruisers on Celebrity. We usually cruise in Aqua Class. For our 40th Anniversary in October, we decided to book a Sky Suite. Never having sailed in a suite, we would like to make sure we avail ourselves of everything we can! What does the Butler do, what about Michael’s Club, etc. any info will be truly appreciated, Thanks in advance....!:D

This reminds me about a guy who described having a butler on a cruise ship like having a wife who will bring you drinks and snacks, sew on a loose button, polish your shoes, and make appointments for you.

But the butler will never criticize you no matter what stupid things you do or say,

(at least not to your face). clear.png?emoji-wink-1685

The butler will take care of any needs you may have in your cabin. We have asked for extra power outlets and even ask that a lock be installed on our balcony door. They will bring you any thing you need or want for your frig or afternoon snacks. If you order room service it will be your butler who brings it.

Michael's is great. The concierge will help you with absolutely anything you need from dinner reservations to shore excursions. The bar in Michael's is open from around 11am to midnight where you can order any alcoholic drink, coffee or tea. They also have snacks. We find it to be a great place to escape if we want to have a little break from the masses. It is usually empty except for afternoon tea or pre-dinner happy hour.

And don't forget the Luminae, it is worth the extra price of the suite alone. Not that the food is that much better but the service is.

Enjoy the suite life. You will find it very hard to cruise any other way.

I would add that the concierge in Michael's Club also deals with any issues for you ----it saves queuing at Guest Relations and cuts a lot of other corners.

Also, some of the entertainers are invited to perform to a suite audience; a good concierge encourages suite guests to come along and enjoy the intimate gathering.

We loved both Michaels and Luminae , we have done suites on a couple ther lines but suite lounge on celebrity is excellent drinks and coffee served from early morning to midnight, elegant place to relax, concierge is there to help with anything, they had a few different 12 year old scotch’s . They also had the menu for all the specialty restaurants , mdr and luminae. Service in luminae was truly great, and you can order from the mdr menu there also.

On our last cruise our cards didn't work on embarkation. Jole led us to Michael's where she took new photos and created our new cards. She was pretty great taking care of dinner reservations in Murano to making sure we knew of special entertainment and a visit by senior officers. We also met some great people in nearby suites and had pre-dinner drinks with them most evenings. The Michael's bartender, Rosie, took care of our drinks, including stocking their bar with my beer of choice. Luminae was a very enjoyable experience, with well prepared food, a knowledgeable sommelier, and excellent service.

You'll enjoy your suite experience, I'm sure!
